Trans Northland Support Group

Transgender Psychotherapy Group
UPDATE 9/2025: the Psychotherapy Group for Transgender and Non-Binary Individuals is moving as Dr. Tara L. Richter has opened her own private practice, Richter Scale Psychological Services.
The group will continue to take place on the 2nd Thursday of each month, 5-6 PM. Starting October 9th, the location will change (contact tara@richterpsych.com for the new location). Prior registration for the group is still required (tara@richterpsych.com).
Friends, Family, and Allies of Trans Northland
Northland Allies
A group for aspiring allies in the Northland. For more info, contact Jan Ashmore (she/her) at jashmore@northlandallies.org.
A supportive space for friends, family members, and allies of transgender and gender expansive folks.
Our allies meet virtually on the 1st Thursday of every month.

Youth Groups
Duluth GSA Group
These meetings provide a safe space for Duluth LGBTQ+ middle and high school students to attend. Guardians and school staff are also welcome to attend. For location information, please email jodibroadwell@gmail.com.
Together for Youth
An inclusive, supportive and welcoming group for LGBTQ youth in Duluth, MN who are 13+. This program is through Lutheran Social Services (LSS).
Trans Youth Equality Foundation
Youth support groups [via zoom] open to all trans and non binary youth across the country and world. Ages 12-16.
Transforming Families MN
An inclusive and safe space for families with transgender and questioning youth in Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Commission QT (University of Minnesota Duluth)

Quorum (Minnesota)
Quorum is Minnesota's award winning LGBTQ+ and Allied Chamber of Commerce. We are an organization of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer+ and LGBT-allied businesses, corporations, nonprofits and professionals focused on building a strong business community in Minnesota. Quorum champions the business case for a fully inclusive business community as a conduit for economic development and is a leader in the continuum of change. With over 70+ networking, education and certification events, Quorum builds, connects and strengthens Minnesota's LGBTQ+ and Allied business community.
Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce (Wisconsin)
The Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce works to create a fully inclusive state by promoting economic growth and opportunities among LGBT owned and allied businesses, corporations, and professionals in Wisconsin. Representing its members, the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce serves as the business advocate and the link between business and government in an effort to promote equality and fairness for all.
